You may have noticed that the EDIS project has been "idled" for much of the last 2 storm seasons. We are pleased to announce that we are resuming this project at the start of Hurricane Season 2011 on June 1, 2011. Stay tuned for more details.

The National Hurricane Center is currently issuing advisories on 2 tropical storm systems and 1 tropical depression. You can find information on Tropical Storm Ana, Tropical Storm Bill, and Tropical Depression 4 at http://www.nhc.noaa.gov. Tropical Depression 4 will most likely make landfall as a Tropical Storm.

General Education Online has the following updates to provide on school closings following the severe weather which occurred in New Orleans this morning.
1) Loyola University - New Orleans - All classes cancelled for today, will resume normal operations tommorrow (Feb 14th).
2) Tulane University - Classes at Uptown campus cancelled (except for the Law School), all other campuses on normal schedule. Uptown campus expects to resume classes tommorrow (Feb 14th).
3) Xavier University - All classes cancelled for today, expected to resume normal operations tommorrow (Feb 14th).
